Very nice set of 2 high back lounge chairs designed by Yngve Ekstrom and manufactured by Swedese, Sweden 1970. The chairs have a birch plywood frame 

The chair is in a wooden and leather symphony. It features four legs and a perfect seat and backrest, making it comfortable. Yngve Ekström is best known for the "Lamino" armchair, an ergonomic and Minimalist easy chair that he designed in 1956 and which has been in continuous production ever since. In 1999, the "Lamino" was named by the influential Swedish magazine "Sköna Hems" as the Swedish furniture design of the twentieth century.

Yngve Ekström (1913-1988) was an architect, woodworker, and furniture designer from Hagafors, Småland, in Southern Sweden. At the age of thirteen, following the death of his father, Ekström began working in the country’s oldest furniture factory, Hagafors Chair Factory.

Turns out my little chair is designed by Yngve Ekstrom, and made in Sweden in the late 1950s. The chair in the listing sold for $1200! The good news is that it was definitely worth restoring this guy, but the bad news is that I doubt I’ll be able to afford a pair for him.
